When you start promoting your site, you must realise that it doesn't happen over night. Many of the promotional resources take time to kick into action, and promotion is ongoing! PLEASE keep good records of your promotional and submission data, many places will require a password and username from you,(try GATOR, he remembers passwords for you! very cool) We kept a notebook and a PLAN! Our mission was to submit or promote using atleast, 20 different places a day. For some this will be easy to achieve, for others

Many banner exchange programmes require you to post a banner on your home page. Be careful not to over crowd your front page (or any other for that matter), it is after all the first point of entry for

Free classifieds are an excellent way of advertising your site. They do expire, on average after about 30 days, but just keep at it.Make sure the
body of your advert is catchy, use pictures where possible, and be as specific as you can when choosing a category to place your ad in.
